Fumle & The Groundwater
Join Fumle, as he learns how to maintain his garden without the use of damaging chemicals & pesticides. He also learns how to avoid contaminating the precious groundwater in Denmark, and with a little help from his friends, care for the surrounding farmland too. Well done Fumle.
Client: Viborg Kommune
In Denmark, all the drinking water comes from the ground and therefore we need to do our best in order to protect it. Each year, many wells and pumps close down due to pollution and pesticides in the aquifers.
This is a problem that rarely gets enough attention, so Viborg Kommune approached Monkey Tennis with the idea of an informational film about the issue of pollution in the groundwater.
Monkey Tennis wanted to reach a very wide audience to give this situation as much exposure as possible. We took an informal approach to a serious issue, introducing some humour into the character design and animation. This way, we could present the problem in such a way that the message is clear, as well as memorable.
