Client: Viborg Kommune

Monkey Tennis were contacted by Viborg Kommune in Denmark to produce a short, lighthearted film to raise awareness of the new technology, strategies, and implementations that the Kommune have available to help make the daily lives of people with disabilities and injuries a little easier, and to aid recovery. The film showcases a variety of products and services, including, but not limited to; The Alter-G, an anti gravity treadmill, a Virtual Nurse for home consultations, a mechanical bed, to ease getting in and out of bed.

The Approach

We wanted the film to be lighthearted and informative. The characters needed to be relatable and cover a broad range of the users of the welfare technology, and show how it can be used in a variety of locations. Below you can see how we developed the idea with these parameters in mind.

Production Artwork

The characters cover the wide range of users, from the elderly to young people recovering from injuries. The environments needed to represent the places where the technology can be used, and also look appealing and universal enough to encourage more people to use the technology. The numerous technologies needed to be designed to look like their real-life counterparts, but also look simple enough to use, so as not to discourage new users.
